Roger
Roger Thalarctos Maritimus has a degree in ice floe ecology from Tuc U and speaks three languages, including Finnish and Russian. He is in much demand at circumpolar conferences and trade shows. He is also an artist; his ice sculptures have shown at the Inuvik Art Gallery.Roger has traveled the world but prefers the snowy expanse of Canada's north. He has three sons that he rarely sees and is currently working on a biography of James Frobisher.

Claim to fame:
Appeared on David Letterman to read his top ten list "Top 10 Things to do when it's -40 degrees."

Biggest Fear:
Being stranded on land by melting ice.

Biggest Mistake:
Getting a tattoo as a cub, that reads “South Pole is for Amateurs.”


Charles
Charles Frigid is a polar bear's polar bear. At over seven feet tall, he is all about food, conserving energy - and hanging out with Roger. Charles has an innate ability of always knowing where true north is, no matter where he's standing. He also knows when a storm is coming – "it's all in my knees," says Charles.

Claim to Fame:
Was the third bear on the left in episode 12 of Due South.

Favourite Pastime:
Watching the northern lights – far better than anything on TV.

Most Embarrassing Moment:
Getting stuck in an ice hole while hunting for seal.
